For this project, we wrapped an entire two-story fireplace wall in stacked stone to turn it into the main focal point of the room. The height of the wall made layout and consistency especially important, so a lot of attention went into keeping the lines clean, the transitions tight, and the overall look balanced from the hearth all the way to the peak. With the vaulted ceiling and tall arched windows on both sides, the goal was to make the fireplace feel substantial enough for the space without making it look heavy. The finished wall adds texture, scale, and a much stronger architectural presence to the room.
